Why is it so hard to navigate all of the Steam content?
We’ve been told time and time again that more games are being published now more than ever, and I don’t think it’s more obvious than when looking at the lineup of Steam Next Fest titles. You have hundreds of indie titles of various levels of quality all vying for eyes, you have the most low-quality AI slop mucking up the works, and you have AAA titles with hundreds of thousands of wishlists already stealing top billing with what seems like a monetary cheat code.
Over the next few days, I’ll do my best to help weed through the fluff and highlight what I consider the most interesting titles nearing launch. Also, shout out to other creators/media such as lookingfor.game that help me in the same way.
